Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Current
  • Built and proposed an automated laser-etching station — PLC-controlled laser, Cognex machine-vision cameras, and a live AI-assisted Python/SQL tracking system — to mark serial numbers and UL labels on a production line
  • Developed counter-sync logic (TCP communication + firmware-level patch) to keep laser, camera, and database counters aligned across 5 product configurations; diagnosed and fixed a style-switching defect causing serial mismatches
  • Built AI-based agents supporting manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Evaluated AMR/AGV material delivery and fork-truck fleet efficiency, and mapped material flow into a shelf-relocation plan that reduced production waste

  • Conducted inventory analysis and vendor communications to optimize aftermarket offerings and increase profit margins
  • Improved spindle fitting by designing and manufacturing new lap tools

Automated Equity Screening & Trading Algorithm

Built a Python algorithm connecting to market-data and brokerage APIs to continuously screen the equity market against custom value/momentum criteria, automating trade execution and fund allocation to rebalance a live portfolio toward top-scoring positions.
